Team River Runner
Team River Runner is a national non-profit organization that works with veterans to promote healing through water sports. Primarily we teach white water kayaking to veterans and their families. While I am a civilian (I never served in the armed forces), I have been involved with TRR since 2012 when a few of us formed the Grand Junction Chapter of TRR and I acted as Chapter Coordinator and Lead Instructor until I left for Los Angeles for work in 2016. I still help out when I can and one of the ways I help is by organizing and running regional events for the Central Rockies Region.
