The Pink Bridge is a historic wooden bridge built in the late 1800 and for many decades served as the only way across the river to get into Carbondale. While long since replaced by a much more modern bridge this landmark serves as a reminder of a time long past. Its name comes from the reflection of the sun off the nearby red cliffs that at certain times of day give the wood on the bridge a pink hue.

The turn for the ramp off of CO 82 is over a mile and a half north of the CO 133 bridge into Carbondale. Follow the frontage road (Satank Rd) down to the RV park but turn right down a side road just before entering the RV park. Be careful as this is a one lane road after the RV park and one could find themselves backing a trailer up or down the road to let someone by. The boat ramp is next to the CO 133 bridge with the Pink Bridge down river about a half mile. There is a good ramp to the river for easy off loading and quite a bit of parking. A couple of porta potties have been placed here.
