State Bridge is the first of the Eagle County Open Space recreation fee sites along this stretch of river. Before this was in the hands of Eagle County it was a private ramp at least as far as I can remember. Damn the memory is going, I know I took out here several times when I first started coming up here, one time on a river clean up I volunteered for, but I can’t remember how the old set up was. Regardless, the new ramp is high class and well maintained. The fee that is charged goes towards keeping the area clean and maintained. It was a very welcomed addition to the area.
