Pumphouse is the premier campsite and boat launch of the area serving as the takeout for Gore Canyon and the put in for the Pumphouse Run. Over the years this has morphed into a really good camp site and it even boasts a manmade play wave for something to do if you get to camp early.

Ramp 2 is usually the least crowded as you have to carry your gear to the water, kayakers may find this the better option. It also puts you in just below the play wave so you can surf a little before heading down river. Ramps 1 and 3 are usually crowded, even on weekdays, it’s a very popular run. Patience is required here but most people are super friendly and helpful.
