The Upper Put In is surrounded by private property so please be respectful when accessing the river here. Try to stay low key and not draw too much attention to yourself. Parking in the turnout next to the river is ill advised and it would be much better to park in the turnout across the hwy and walking over. Do not park directly across from the riverside turnout but instead in the big turnout next to the cliff (see Map). This is more of a tenuous easement than it is an access point so please try and be a good steward and do your best to have good interactions with the local farmers.
