Bridgeport is an old railroad town that is pretty much just a bridge and a ranch these days. The railroad tracks make a good boat ramp here difficult though a ramp could be possible if we could cut through some red tape. That said the BLM has done a pretty good job of developing this access for both hikers and boaters. A nice pit toilet and plenty of parking have been built. To access the river from here you have to hike under the railroad bridge and walk through the sometimes-muddy creek. This walk is only about 200 ft but it can often be overgrown.
