I don’t think Veltas was ever intended to be a boat launch. They have built a nice concrete pad and have always made it accessible with a kayak, SUP or other small craft but taking out with a raft here would be a real hassle. This is a great park for a picnic but it’s small and has limited parking so why not continue another .6 of a mile down to Two Rivers Park and leave this one for the families, at least on the weekends.
